  • As fruit and vegetables change with the season, from time to time we may need to change an ingredient, or possibly due to our suppliers’ stock levels. If this is the case the nutritional facts, flavours and colour of a product may vary slightly. Whenever changes of recipes and or nutritional facts occur, we will do our best to update you, however, you understand, accept and agree that it is not always possible for us to update you and that you agree that it is your responsibility to monitor any changes to our site, current stock and or menu.

Allergens & Food:

Before consuming any products from Rap It Up please note that we make a range of meals in our food van and we cannot guarantee any products sold either on our website, or via the premises are completely free from any allergen such as milk, egg, gluten, soy, peanuts, sesame seeds, tree nuts and lupin. All care and responsibility is taken with regards to providing this information and as such any and all liability as a direct or indirect result of an allergy is on the the consumer, not rap it up or any and all of rap it up’s agents, representatives, heirs, successors, nominees or assigns.
Most of our products contain Wheat, milk, gluten, egg, milk, nuts, peanuts, sesame, soy and or tree nuts and this information is readily available for the consumer to make informed decisions based upon the information provided.

RAP IT UP accepts no liability to any allergic reaction caused as a result of consuming our products.

We have provided full disclosure of our ingredients and practices and as such it is up to the consumer to make informed decisions based upon our provided information.

Although we purchase all our poultry boneless, we cannot guarantee 100% removal of all bones.

At Rap It Up we recognise that with the constantly changing COVID-19 situation, our consumers are concerned about the effect it can have when handling your meal. Rap it up is compliant with any and all relevant legislation with regards to covid and or safe food practices.

  • We limit the number of individuals handling your meal.

Your Responsibility:

Once the food has left our premises, customers acknowledge and agree that RAP IT UP will not accept any claims whatsoever.
Onus is on the customer to always store the food in cool conditions and to keep it out of strong light and heat to avoid the food from spoiling.

Rap it up accepts no liability in any way shape or form for any product after it has left our premises.
You agree to follow all instructions on any labels that may have been put on food containers.
You understand that it is your responsibility to consume the food immediately, store or reheat as advised on any labels that may have been put on food packaging. Any failure to follow the guidelines provided by rap it up absolves rap it up and any and all of rap it up’s staff, agents, representatives, heirs, successors, nominees or assigns from any and all liability.

Why we collect personal information about you:

  • Usually, we collect personal information directly from you. We may record your contact details when you call to place your order, when you fill out our Terms & Conditions form, an application form, or a credit application, or when you enter one of our competitions or promotions on our website or on our social media pages.

  • All personal information is collected by consent and in accordance with the relevant privacy laws such as the Privacy Act 1988.

  • credit/debit card details (including card type, card number, security number and expiry date)

  • So that we can administer our dealings with you, to provide you with information and to respond to any requests that you may have.
  • So that we can assess and process a credit application made by you, establish, provide, and administer your credit account, and collect overdue payments.
  • So that we can function as a business, for example, we may collect your personal information so that we can offer you new products. Please tell us if you do not wish to receive notifications of any new products or promotions we may have.

Our Catering Services:

  • We are predominantly a pickup service; however, depending on the number of orders we have on the same day as your order, and where you are located, we may be able to offer delivery of your food to your function. Discuss this with out staff.
  • We may also be able to bring our food van to your function or event, however for this to occur, the following conditions apply.
  1. Our food van must be parked on level ground and off council property.
  2. We must be parked off any roads, and strictly parked on private land.
  3. The dimensions of our food truck are 5 L x 2.4 W x 2.6 H.
  4. We may require 3 Power points

If we come to your function:

We cater for the Melbourne metro & surrounding suburb areas; if your location is outside these areas, we may still be able to attend, however a travel charge may apply.

Arrival:

We arrive 1.5 to 2 hrs before your desired service time.

We will lay out all your food on the main table that you have set up.

Departure:

We depart 1 hour after service time has finished, which allows us to cool down equipment.

Our service includes a 2-hour service time, if you require a longer service time this can be offered at an additional cost of $130 per hour + GS

What type of bookings do you cater for?

We can canter for, corporate functions, birthdays, weddings, and engagements. We also cater for festivals & events, schools for parent teacher night, staff meetings, hens, bucks, whatever you’re celebrating, we can cater for any occasion.

Dietary requirements?

We offer Gluten Free, Vegan/Vegetarian options. Our chicken is halal

Terms & Conditions of payment:

Deposit:

 A 30% deposit of the total order is due at the time of booking your event/function. Please request a tax receipt if required.
A minimum of 4 weeks’ notice is required for bookings. (Depending on the number of booking we have, we may be able to cater for your function if you have less than 4 weeks before your preferred function date).
All catering prices are current and once deposit is paid, they will not alter. (except where stated) e.g. If you wish to add to you order etc. Once you have returned the signed T&C’s form and paid the 30% deposit, we will commence preparations for your function.

 Final Payment:

The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to your event. We accept cash, EFT or credit card payments.               

Cancellation:

Two weeks’ notice is required for cancellation of your order, otherwise your deposit will be forfeited if less than 2 weeks notice is given.

Quantities:

Our quantities per person recommendation shown on our catering menu, website or social media pages are intended as a guide only and do not replace professional advice.

You acknowledge and Consent that:

By clicking on the “I Agree” field, or any similar field, form or link designated to indicate your acceptance of this Privacy Policy and using our Services, you are consenting to providing us with your personal information and agree to your personal information being collected, stored, used, processed, and disclosed in accordance with this Privacy Policy and relevant privacy laws or legislation.

Refund policy

We have a range of meals to choose from on our website and we advise that you carefully select your options. After placing your order or before returning your signed catering agreement form, please review all items you’ve selected to ensure no mistakes have been made.
We do not give refunds due to a change of mind; a credit will be issued in place of a refund for any reasonable reason.
